RIM All-Star Tryout

Sport Tags
Date: April 2, 2011 - April 3, 2011

My sincerest apologies, but the 7th grade tryouts scheduled for March 19-20 will be changed. Due to a large number of 7th graders unable to attend due to spring break vacations and other conflicts, I will be combining the 7th and 8th grade tryouts to be held on April 2-3. Sorry for any inconvenience this schedule change may create. If you have a 7th grader who cannot attend the April 2-3 tryout dates, please let me know.

As a reminder, the 7/8th grade tryouts are for current year 7th and 8th boys. There will still be two separate all-star teams formed - a 7th grade team and an 8th grade team. Of course, there will also be the HS team.

Here are the dates set for the 2011 RIM All-Star Tryouts:
(Based on current year grade level)

Grade: 7th grade boys
Dates: March 19th, 10am to 5pm
March 20th, 2pm to 5pm

Bring: Indoor basketball shoes, water bottle, snack or light lunch
Cost: $40
----------------------------------------------------------------------

April 3rd, 1pm to 4:30pm

(Although it is best to attend on your grade level weekend, if you are a 7th or 8th grader and have a scheduling conflict on your weekend, you can make arrangements to attend on either weekend.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

April 10th, 2pm to 5pm

(IF you have a major scheduling conflict that cannot be changed, let me know)

Practices: We will have one BIG weekend practice for all athletes invited to play with this year's teams. I will announce specific times for those practices soon. The practice date will be the weekend of April 30-May 1. Because athletes are scattered around the state and practices are difficult to organize, we "learn on job" at the various tournaments. I will also have the finalized tournament schedule available soon.

This is a great experience for Montana ball players to get the opportunity to play against some great competition from around the U.S. Some of our graduating seniors are now looking at playing college ball and receiving scholarships. Print the attached registration form and mail in.
