UA Sales Meeting

What a heck of a weekend!! From the Chisel Team to all of you at Universal Athletics and beyond, we want to say thank you for an incredibly successful event. From all who participated in the buyers meetings, to the winners of the Horse Races, thanks again..We hope you had a great time.

The buyers meetings took place in the Stadium Club, overlooking the Bobcat Field. There was a lot of hustle bustle as buyers meet with vendors, talked shop and looked through all of next years gear. All and all a very successful day.
Back to the GranTree… what a perfect location for the UA meetings. From the sports bar upfront, to all the conference rooms in the back of the hotel, UA’s presence was felt. As the day pushed on there was a lot of talk about the Horse Races… What were they? Were there going to be real horses? Was there a track? Was it a comedy event? No one seemed to have a straight answer. All we knew was that apparently we had to witness it first hand. As dinner winded down that evening there was a kind of electricity in the room, you could feel it… The track was set, the cans were up.. and the well,horses were on the track!! As the races got under way the room came alive...The tickets were flying, the money was coming out, this was going to be one hell of a race. As the horses went through the pre game warm up, stretching, mental preparation, the crowd focused in to the main stage. The big MC was on the mic, it all started with a bang, the dice began to fly, the cans were on the move...horse racing the UA way.. All and all it was a hell of a night, a good race, great food, and incredible conversation.

The next days meetings started as meetings do...The horses were a bit weary from the previous nights running on the track, but they were there ready to get the job done. The days meetings went by in a flurry, from one room to the next, shoes, apparel, hats, bats and books...On to the Chisel team meeting, the slick new website, the much welcomed pitchers of Bloody’s, a whole new direction.. As the day winded down the awards ceremony capped off one incredible weekend. From all at Team Chisel, we hope your weekend was as productive and fun as ours. We again thank all involved for their help, participation, and drive to take the UA brand to a whole new level!!
