Team Handball
Discover team handball, an Olympic sport played in 159 countries by 20 million people worldwide and rated third among all
sports in television viewers during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. It combines elements of basketball, hockey
and soccer.
Handball is an action-packed game, composed of two teams, six players and one goalie each, facing off on a court
significantly larger than that of basketball. Successful scoring attempts result in a single point. Defensive play is primarily
man-to-man with unlimited “fouls”. A regulation game is played in two 30-minute halves. Final scores are often in the
30’s.

RIM Girl's All-Star Team
RIM All-Star Program is excited to announce the addition of an 8th Grade Girl's All-Star team opportunity for next year's 2012 spring/summer season. We will launch this opportunity with a 2011 fall all-star tryout/shooting clinic for girl's entering into 7th, 8th, 9th, or 10th grade. This event will be held in Bozeman at Heritage Christian School on August 20, 9am to 5pm and August 21, 2pm to 5pm.
The clinic will give athletes a chance to spend a great weekend on the court with some of the top, same age basketball players from around the state of Montana. There will be in-depth shooting and creating shot space instruction along with lots of competition and scrimmages. All athletes will also get a professional video shot analysis through RIM PRO SHOT.
There will then be a follow-up spring clinic/tryout in April 2012 to choose a final roster to play in regional and national tournaments in the spring/summer of 2012. It's at these tournaments where athletes can test their skills against some of the best same age ball players from around the U.S.
Space will be limited, so sign up early!
